Zyxel Pro Outdoor Router Enables High Speed Broadband Service Zyxel’s new LTE7480 LTE-A Pro Outdoor Router is designed with intent to cover customers whose location doesn’t allow them to have high speed broadband internet. This is a concept called FWA, which stands for Fixed Wireless Access and it makes us of the 3.5 GHz Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) band for delivering this service. The protocol used to deliver this broadband connection is 4G LTE. It features high gain antennas, 4×4 configuration MIMO 10 dbi antenna, with a rugged outdoor design such that it endures whatever type of weather, always delivering the same coverage and bandwidth. What’s good about CBRS is that it offers expansions free of bandwidth sharing, which is a known issue when multiple users connect to any type of wireless hotspot. It is also designed in such a way to be used in very rough outdoor environments, featuring an industrial grade IP67 casing. The router can be easily managed over TR-069 which has its own remote graphics user interface. Zyxel’s products have always represented excellent value for money and with this newly designed device it seems that they are looking into covering some other aspects of the market, where there aren’t many legit and high quality products to be found.
