Alphabet Inc. Released Revenue Figures For Google

by DMG Webmaster

Alphabet Inc. is the parent company to Google, YouTube, Google Fiber, Calico, DeepMind and a few others high profile technology companies. If you weren’t aware of this, fret not, Alphabet Inc. is basically a collection of companies and doesn’t really have an ecstatic output as you might have from Google or YouTube. It doesn’t disappoint when it comes to reporting revenue numbers for the companies it holds within as these are somewhat mind boggling.

Basically, YouTube and Google Cloud are two top businesses for Alphabet Inc. YouTube has generated US$15 billion in ads in previous year, which is almost 40% more than in year before. Google Cloud Revenue had an even more impressive boost in earnings, more than 50% – US$8.9 billion comparing to US$5.8 billion than in year before.

Sundar Pichai is the man in charge of Alphabet Inc. as of now while he also runs Google as well. The last couple of months were definitely game changing, since the original founders of Google, Larry Page and Sergey Brin stepped aside. They were running the company for more than 20 years and will definitely go in the history books as some of the most influential entrepreneurs that ever existed.
